Cards are very useful in teaching counting to young learners. The children will get the chance to learn numbers through play and also practice vocabulary with their favorite animals. I recommend you to laminate them, for longer use.

I have designed these counting activities because we have resin hearts, stars, and numbers, but you can count also things made from other materials. You can laminate them and use a marker to write the numbers or to draw hearts and stars. There is also an activity where you can practice line tracing.

These activities are Valentine's Day themed. This is a good opportunity for children to count some hearts, cut heart stripes, and recognize initial sounds.
