Place Value activity using your birthday
This worksheet for place value will engage your students as they revise place value numbers and concepts. Using their birthdate, students complete a simple balloon craft representing their birthday in Base 10 blocks. I then use these birthday balloons to engage students in place value number talks to develop concepts such as ordering and comparing numbers, counting on and counting back, and rounding numbers into the thousands. Students then use their birthday information to complete a worksheet
