Minnesota Reconstruction Inquiry Design Model (IDM)
For state history or AP US History students, this Inquiry Design Model (IDM) allows students to use primary and secondary sources in a scaffolded manor to examine the following question: How Minnesotans supported, or limited, African American Rights During Reconstruction? Materials include a website to utilize the lesson digitally as well as handouts and all sources. Students complete mini research tasks to ultimately engage in student choice to present their final argument answering the overarc
