Students will have the opportunity to use graphics of a variety of different animals to pull facts to create an informative paragraph about their animal.
The variety of animals allows students to chose an animal that interests them, and it also allows for a variety of scaffolding depending on difficulty of the standards set for the writing (sentence length, number of sentences, etc.).

Students will have the opportunity to use the Amelia Bedelia text to decode the figurative language. Space is provided for students to write or draw their responses.
Students can complete the entire packet or have one student take one chore in a small group setting.
Set includes 10 different opinion writing prompts.
