Experience

I have taught in both general education and special education classrooms from Pre-K through 5th. My own education history

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of West Georgia with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and General Special Education. I am currently pursuing a masters in Reading Education (P-5) from the University of Georgia.

Additional biographical information

I am a wife to a fellow educator and a new mom to our soon-to-be one year old daughter! I currently call Athens, Georgia my home (GO DAWGS!). I enjoy scrapbooking, crafting, painting, drawing, and baking! On my free time, I like to search thrift stores for children’s books to add to my growing library. My academic and teaching interests are focused on Special Education and Children’s Literature.
