Levels of Understanding Sign

This is a useful tool that I use as a student reflection piece upon work completion. I place this in student eye view of the work turn in trays and I have students reflect on their own understanding of content mastery and work completion. They will highlight their name with a specific color of understanding then turn in the assignment. Waiting Room Poster

This tool has been a life saver for my classroom management during independent workshop. I bought the number clothes pins from the Target dollar spot and placed one in each box. When the kids have used every tool that they've learned in class and still require assistance, they will grab a number then continue trying on their own until I can get there. You could easily Velcro numbers to each box, too.
