As school-based Speech and Language Pathologists, we have worked directly with teachers, special education specialists, and other related services providers to support students in their classrooms. We have seen first hand the challenges that educators face in differentiating their lessons for the wide-range of abilities and skills of their students. We are Jamie and Stacey, the GRASPhopper co-founders. We use our 20+ years of combined experience working with school-aged children to create clear lessons that click and stick. As school-based Speech and Language Pathologists, we have worked directly with teachers, special education specialists, and other related services providers to support students in their classrooms. We have seen first hand the challenges that educators face in differentiating their lessons for the wide-range of abilities and skills of their students. We want all of your students to grasp the foundational reading, writing, and language skills needed to be successful in the classroom.

Teaching style

Our method is simple: Provide direct teaching with modeling and practice, so students can easily grasp the skills and concepts they need to be successful in school. How do we do this? Through our TEACHING VIDEOS packed with direct teaching, modeling and practice opportunities. Even better, ALL videos have PAIRED RESOURCES to allow students additional practice. These resources are differentiated or leveled, making them effective to use with your whole class, small groups, and during special education services.
