I have taught for 24 years in an array of grade levels ranging from 2nd grade inclusive to graduate school for teachers. I am a Master Teacher, Seminar Leader, College Instructor in the Education Department & in charge of the Common Core adoptions in my subject area.

Greg Frates is back with a Math page that can be used as a warm up, activiity for 'early' finishers or merely as a team brainstorming activity. Symmetry, addition, subtraction, telling time and number patterns are some of the skills that need to be relearned throghout any elementary grade school year. This can be reused each week by merely changing the focus of the primary number that starts the entire page. Great for homework, rainy days or as fillers at any time. This page is a great too

Teaching style

I am 'hands-on', thus I want my students busy, problem solving and working independently or in teams on tasks that last longer than 5 minutes. I like to maximize the space on any worksheet so I avoid graphics while utilizing as much opportunity for practice.
