Whenever I give my students an essay, I almost always give them this graphic organizer. This organizer helps them to plan out their introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, so that they basically have their essay written once they've completed this organizer. The question that I used for this particular organizer was for the novel To Kill A Mockingbird, but you can delete this question and insert your own. You can use it for any question in any subject.

This graphic organizer helps students break down the differences between the 3 colonial regions: New England colonies, Middle colonies and the Southern colonies. It helps them to comprehend the differences in weather, types of jobs, soil and growing seasons, importance of slaves, religious tolerance and population diversity.
