Counting with a Box Drum
This product presents a multimodal approach to teaching counting 1-2-3. The slides, when projected on a large screen, present visual input, the drumming presents kinesthetic and auditory input. This is all combined with the teacher instructing and modeling the drum beats. This is all designed to be used with an ordinary recycled cardboard box.

I am an experienced Art,Science and Special education teacher.Many of my emerging lessons are geared to early education development, academically, emotionally and creatively. There is an emphasis on multimodal art integration that blends into the lessons and activities.
Teaching style
The teaching style resembles Reggio Emilia schools with guiding teachers in documentation and observation skills. The teaching techniques also provide ways to create learning environments and guidance in using a variety of materials in unintended ways.
