About the store
I have 8 years of elementary teaching experience. I have taught both ends of the spectrum at Kindergarten and 1st grade, as well as, 5th and 6th grade. I also spent a year teaching gifted students as well. I have loved all grades and for different reasons! I am also currently a stay-at-home mom teaching my very active and inquisitive toddler. So many products will be preschool focused as well.

Experience
I have 8 years of elementary teaching experience. I have taught both ends of the spectrum at Kindergarten and 1st grade, as well as, 5th and 6th grade. I also spent a year teaching gifted students as well. I have loved all grades and for different reasons! I am also currently a stay-at-home mom teaching my very active and inquisitive toddler. So many products will be preschool focused as well.
Teaching style
I am a firm believer that kids were not mean to sit still for hours on end. They are active and mostly remember concepts that they can get involved in to make connections. As a dancer, I design many lessons that get the students up and moving. Don't worry, you won't have to dance in front of the students! However, many lessons will get them out of their seats and interacting in some way.
However, I know this is also not possible with all subjects. So I am also a believer in project-based learning. If the students can't get moving, engrossing themselves in a project really creates those connections for them. I hope you love the products and are able to find something that works well in your classroom!
