Students learn about active reading strategies such as: visualizing, summarizing, making connections, asking questions, and predicting. Unit can be made into a booklet. Chapters are paired together (2 per strategy). Last three chapters are a review of all strategies mentioned.

Students will review subtraction skills: -Finding missing digit -Subtraction across zeros -3 digit and 4 digit subtraction with regrouping -Input Output Tables -Rounding, then subtracting problems

A foldable to use for parts of a map, labels only. Definitions not included.

This sort allows students to sort the basic polygon shapes based on the number of sides each polygon has.

Students can cut and glue on construction paper to practice matching poetry terms with definition and examples.
