My passion for teaching and learning is deeply rooted. I am a strong believer in being a lifelong learner, not just through education but also experiences, relationships, and everyday interactions. My goal as a teacher is that my students leave my classroom as better humans.
Following the love I found in respite care and nannying, I decided to begin my journey to teaching at Spring Arbor University where I learned from some of the best and received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I then did my student teaching in third grade at a large public school where I learned under a brilliant veteran teacher! Shortly after, I was hired into a fourth grade at a small charter school, looking for someone to bring balance to a class with diverse needs. Outside of school I continue to work with children who have a variety of special needs.
