About the store

Experience

Former special education teacher who turned to technology. I have worked for the past 6 years integrating technology into our small rural school in indiana, where Pre-K-12 grade students are all under one roof! I design all resources with the adaptability of grade ranges and ability levels.

Teaching style

I strive to make students independent problem solvers. I believe that you shouldn't do something for someone when you can teach them how to do it for themselves! Integrating technology to make it more adaptable for all learners and efficient in providing timely relevant feedback.

My own education history

I was a late bloomer in the education world. I started at 18 as a Interior Design major. After settling in a small town I decided that career path was difficult to sustain. When my son was born I entered a program to transition to teaching. I became a special education teacher. Then I found myself teaching in the middle of a cornfield with very little internet connectivity! I worked with administration to implement a comprehensive technology plan and became the schools first technology integration specialist when we went 1:1 in 2014.
