A fun St. Patrick's Day activity or station! Students sort the marshmallows in Lucky Charms cereal on the shamrock sorting mat, then color in a graph to show how many of each marshmallow they have. Use the graphs to compare results of small groups or the whole class. These are punch cards that can be worn as a badge or placed in students' desks. I use them as badges every day in my Kindergarten classroom. My students love them and so do I. A sorting, graphing, counting, measuring, and recording activity with JELLY BEANS! Give students a colorful, plastic egg filled with jelly beans and let them enjoy a fun math activity! First they sort the beans in their "jars", then count and record numbers. Then they create their graph and use the jelly beans as a measuring tool. I wrote this book because I wanted a good informative book about bats that was appropriate for my Kindergarteners. It contains some really interesting facts about bats (the only mammal that flies) along with fun, simple activities to go along with most pages. A fun topic for Halloween or a science topic. Children think learning about bats is cool! It is important for children to learn that bats are a unique, helpful animal!

This is a very simple one page fill-in-the-blank form letter that I use with my Kindergarten students. It has room for them to add some basic letter parts and list 3 things they would like for Santa to bring them. Finally they finish it up by coloring in the cute picture of Santa's Workshop!
