In this lab/activity students create a model of the Sun, Earth, and moon to demonstrate what happens during moon phases, eclipses, and time zones. Student use the given binary code to shade (or not shade) boxes in the grid. If they do it correctly, it will make a picture! They also have a chance to make their own and convert it to binary code!
