Beginning activity for teaching or assessing the multiple representations of decimals through tenths in a problem solving format. Problems are presented as parts of a whole and students are asked to draw a pictoral model, write the fraction form, write the standard form, and write the word form of the decimal.

Students will use knowledge of perpendicular lines, parallel lines, intersecting lines, acute angles, right angles, and obtuse angles to create a map of an imaginary town. Fun way to assess vocabulary knowledge!

Since Halloween is all about candy for the kids, I developed this fun in-class activity to enjoy CANDY! I pre-make paper bags with a variety of candy types.
