This is the practice log that I created to use with my 5th grade beginning band. There are 5 of the same practice log included in this product, with the days of the week changing to meet your students' needs.
Example: I have students that take lessons on Wednesdays, so they get the practice log that has a Wednesday to Wednesday week.
There are 2 practice logs on every sheet. I cut them in half and use Tacky Glue to bind the top, making it into a notepad.
This is a version of the ABC's to display in your music classroom featuring various musical instruments. There are several examples of the same letter for you to display the ABC's that fit your classroom.
I recommend printing on card stock and laminating these before displaying them in your classroom.

This is a simple word wall alphabet to use in any classroom. The letters are designed in black and white so that it can work in anyone's classroom. This does not include the words to the word wall, just the alphabet letters themselves. I recommend Printing these on card stock, cutting them out, and then laminating.
This Bingo game is a great tool to help students identify the instruments of a standard orchestra. This version of bingo comes with 20 bingo cards and the caller card. Great resource to use to help students identify instruments by their picture. I use this bingo game in small groups as a formative assessment. I suggest printing these on card stock and laminating them!

An exit ticket is a great way to monitor if students are in fact taking in and digesting the learning of the day. I ask my students a simple question about the concept we are focusing on in class and they must answer before they leave. I laminate these and have students write their answer using dry erase markers. It's a great tool to use for a formative assessment.
This is a short formative assessment that I use in my classroom to help my students count quarter note and eighth note rhythm patterns in 4/4 time.
If you are wanting a similar assessment with a slight change please feel free to contact me and I can change it to meet your needs!
