Using the attached file, students will be able to learn the application of similar shapes in real life. Only equipment required is some measuring tapes. Probably avoid doing the measurement during early morning or late afternoon, when the shadow of a pole can get too long to measure easily. Practice questions and tables for data collection and reflection section are included. Ideally for year 9, 10 students after they're taught similar shapes, or for kids doing VCAL numeracy.
