Hi! I'm a second grade teacher in Texas who just made the move to a new school after an amazing 2 years in first grade. I’ve taught Kinder through 2nd and have 490+ hours of classroom experience before even graduating from college a Bachelor's in Elementary Education! I'm super passionate about creating fun, meaningful lessons that help kids feel confident and cared for. I’m also bilingual and trained in the Science of Teaching Reading, PBIS, and restorative practices. Teaching little learners truly brings me joy, and I love sharing what works in my classroom!

Teaching style
My teaching style is rooted in building strong relationships, keeping routines consistent, and making learning fun and engaging. I believe kids thrive when they feel safe, seen, and supported, so I use lots of positive reinforcement and hands-on activities. I aim to create a classroom where every student feels like they belong and can grow at their own pace.
My own education history
I earned my Associate of Arts from Southwest Texas Junior College, where I was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa and served as President of a college ministry. After that, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Education at East Texas Baptist University, where I was recognized for academic excellence and was active in student leadership and mentoring programs. My time in college really shaped my heart for education and gave me a strong foundation in both teaching and building community.

Hi! I'm Faith, a second grade teacher in Texas with a big heart for little learners. I’ve worked with children in many settings—from church ministries to the classroom—and I’ve always known education was my calling. When I’m not lesson planning or organizing centers, you’ll probably find me sipping coffee, spending time with family, or creating resources that make learning fun and meaningful. I’m passionate about classroom community, positive behavior support, and helping every student feel successful and loved.
