About the store

I have been a first grade teacher for twelve years in an inclusive school. This means I have experience teaching kids who have disbilities, working on or below grade level, or are gifted in a general education classroom setting.

Experience

Teaching style

I use Univeral Design for Learning and differentiation to meet the needs of all learners. Many of my activities are open-ended to provide choice for the teacher and/or students.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have presented at the TASH conferences and other professinal development for my school site. I have mentored numerous fieldwork students and student teachers.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor of Science in Teaching in Elementary Education from Towson University.

Additional biographical information

I am a teacher, and mother of two boys. I also tutor students in grades K-3. I enjoy creating new lessons and activities to supplement our curriculum. I hope you enjoy my store!
