There is two sets of life cycle cards in this set. One for the Monarch butterfly and one for the Painted lady butterfly. Each set has the four stages of a butterfly life cycle illustrated and labeled. For Family or Classroom use only. Not for Commercial use.

These cards have 16 common North American butterflies and 4 North American Moths on one side. On the flip side of the cards, you'll find what they look like as a caterpillar and their host plant! They are designed to be printed on a 5 X 7" card stock and then cut down into four different cards measuring 2.5 x 3.5" each. I like to use these cards with sorting circles or as 3 part cards to learn about different types of bugs. Each card has a photo, label, and on the back side information about each bug. There are 24 bugs (four to a page). There is also a sheet of paper that you can cut out categories to sort the bugs by. Physical characteristics and behaviors can be found on the back of the card but questions like whether they are helpful, harmful, or neutral can make for a great discussion. The bugs included are
