Painted Lady Butterfly Anatomy
This is an Anatomy poster that highlights different parts of a butterfly. I used the painted lady butterfly since that is the type of butterfly most commonly sent when you order caterpillars to observe metamorphosis in class or at home. See my Anatomy of a Monarch Butterfly for even more body parts labeled! With the butterfly that is most often used in butterfly lesson materials.

Experience
I have been creating science and geography curricula, lesson plans, and supplemental materials for 8 years.
Teaching style
I create printable activities and worksheets with elements drawn from Montessori and Charlotte Mason. The activities are hands-on, with a focus on drawing out the child's curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Some of the activities are found here along with many of the Montessori-inspired worksheets, info cards, and anchor charts.
My own education history
I have a B.S. in Communications and a minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University Idaho.
