Hatfield's Mathematicians

Students learn about tesseracts, volume, and vocabulary terms for 3-D figures. This activity goes with the book A Wrinkle in Time.

Students will complete a table to show how many total zombies there will be every day for the first 10 days of the attack.  They will answer other questions on exponential growth of zombies.

Bring in 6 different spheres and have students calculate the volume and surface area of each item. You can set this up as stations around your classroom.
