Hatton's Helpfuls

A rubric to evaluate participation during centers or rotations. Based on model of having a small group center, an independent reading center, and a computer study center.

This is part of the Student Data Folder. It is an area for students to reflect each week on reaching their goals. It provides a place for them to list what actions they did to reach their goal and what actions they didn't follow through on.

Keeping up with where students are going and how many times they go during a grading period can be a tedious task. For me, having a sign-out sheet only partially worked because students always managed to forget some part of the required info. I created these labels to give a strip out to each student at the beginning of each grading period. It could be printed on regular paper and torn into tabs or it can be printed on labels that students peel off to apply to a paper at the door as they leave.

This is a detailed list of 5 classroom expectations of behavior and the consequences for not following. It is in a contract form for students to sign.

This is a tool to help students keep track of their own learning progress and assignments. It is in the Excel format so you may edit as needed. This has been a huge help with at-risk students and helping them learn the responsibility of keeping up with their own assignments and grades.
