About the store
I have taught middle school math, including Algebra, for 20 years. I worked in Michigan at Norup Middle School, with the Berkley School District for 8 years. I then taught 2 years in Palo Alto, California at Jordan Middle School. The past 10 years I have taught at Woodland Middle School in Brentwood, Tennessee. I graduated in 1993 from Michigan State University with a degree in Elementary Education, with minors in math and science. I then earned a Master's Degree in Middle School Curriculum at Eastern Michigan University, in 1998.

Experience

I have taught middle school math, including Algebra, for 20 years. I worked in Michigan at Norup Middle School, with the Berkley School District for 8 years. Teaching style

I try to mix up my activities to reach/teach different learning styles. I am big on using different colors to show my steps, when working out problems or graphs. My former students tell me how helpful this was to their learning of the concepts being presented.
