Introduction to American Literature Lesson Set
In this introductory activity for American Literature courses, students will tap into prior knowledge about American literature and history, learn a general overview of the eras of American literature they will study over the entire course through a Prezi presentation and set of close notes, and then be quizzed on their new knowledge.

Additional biographical information
I love reading, writing, and literature, and I think there is a space for every student to find something they love in English class! I am currently taking a break from the classroom to be home with my son, but continue to think about ways to teach literature and writing to students.
