This song was written to be a finger play, but you could also print out the turkeys to use as a prop. I like to incorporate number songs into our morning circle-enjoy.

Materials needed-

counters

Sheet should be laminated or placed in pocket protector
Instructions
1. Roll dice, write number in hexagon, and place that number of counters in tray.
2. Repeat until all trays are filled, or stick with one or two trays to make it easier.
3. Slide counters down to fill ten frame, and add spare counters to rectangle.
4. Add numbers and write in yellow star.
Attached is a family questionnaire. It was created with a first grade Waldorf students in mind; however, can be edited to fit the needs of any teacher.
This can be used as a spelling contract or menu. Have students select spelling practice from menu, then turn in work. You can have this posted in the classroom, give each child a copy, or email to parents.
