I created these labels to laminate and write student names with dry erase markers. I have my center groups color coded by ability and I write student names on the color label that matches their center group and then put them in a pocket chart to show which centers they go to that day. I made this sign for my classroom library. I have a bin with clothes pins labeled with student numbers. When students "check out" one of my classroom books they place their clip on the bucket that they took the book from. When they return the book they put their clip back into the bin. This helps me to see who has books checked out and it helps students to put their books back where they belong.
