Experience

Hi there! I'm a teacher with over 25 years of experience working with students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. These days, I’m a Math Interventionist, supporting 4th and 5th graders in small groups to help them catch up on key concepts and strengthen their math skills. Teaching style

I believe every child has the ability to learn and thrive with the right support. In my approach to math instruction, we start with hands-on learning using manipulatives to build a strong conceptual foundation. From there, we move to visual models—like drawings or learning mats—before transitioning to abstract problem-solving. This step-by-step method helps students develop a deeper understanding and greater confidence in their math abilities. The resources I create reflect this philosophy: they’re practical, engaging, and designed to support meaningful learning in any classroom.
