These posters include 9 common themes found in children's literature. Use these posters for the classroom in order to facilitate conversations about the themes of books that you read aloud in their classrooms, or the posters can serve as a visual reminder for students when reading independently. *Print, laminate and hang the posters. *After reading a book to your class have the student identify the theme and place a picture of the book's cover under the proper theme.

Letter Detective Set: This set of pages can be used when introducing new letters to students or for students who need to review letter recognition. Students use a pencil to find and circle all of the letters for that worksheet. You can also have them use a highlighter or Do-A-Dot marker. These could also be used as great morning work review sheets for the beginning of the year or use them in your ABC workstation.

Here's a great freebie for you that will support DIBELS! I use these several ways: 1. Practice saying them fast. Give them a one minute timer. If they don't know it skip it. 2. Practice as a class, say "ready go" and have them stand when they reach the end of the page. 3. Circle the upper case, cross out the lower case. 4. Circle the letter of the day. Use in classroom instruction, for centers, as early finishers, as bell work, or as homework!
