I just completed my 6th year teaching. I began teaching after graduation in Seoul, South Korea. I moved back home and have been teaching in NC ever since. I've taught a K-1 combination class, Kindergarten and First Grade and have loved it all!
I have gotten such great feedback on my Kindergarten Math Review that I decided to create a first grade version. This download will include nearly every single math standard taught in first grade including: addition, subtraction, geometry, ten more, ten less, story problems (3 types), number sense and so much more! This is great for an end of year review OR to use at the beginning of second grade to see what your students remember! Hope you enjoy! I know I can't wait to use this in my own classr

Great for a center activity or an "I'm finished! Now what?" game! Print the file and simply laminate and cut out apples. Students can sort their CVC words by words that are real (or good) and words that are nonsense (bad). This goes great with all the fun apple activities you have planned for the fall months! Kids will love it! Worksheet included for a quick assessment!
This graphic organizer will go perfectly with your apple themed books every fall. Students can draw a picture to write about the beginning, middle, and end, or write about each part, depending on the grade level. Hope you enjoy!

Experience

Teaching style
I love using hands on materials in my classroom. I see each student as an individual and strive to meet each student's academic needs. I believe a fun classroom is an engaging classroom. Students learn the most when they don't realize they're learning!
My own education history
I graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2009.
