I have over 15 years teaching experience in both a classroom (upper elementary) as well as homeschool (PreK through 12th grade). Additionally, for several years I had the privilege of teaching private art lessons for children and youth ages 8-16.
In addition to teaching, I have also worked in the corporate art world. I was a graphic designer at both Hobby Lobby Corporate and the Creative Art Department of Lamar Outdoor Advertising.
I serve on the Board of Trustees of Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma. I have been serving this higher learning institution since 2010.

Experience

My own education history
Received a 4-year-degree multi-disciplinary degree in Art/Marketing/Mass Communications from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK.
Several years later, I attended Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA, I worked towards a Masters in Teaching and became certified to teach elementary school.
