This is useful to go over manipulative rules...sometimes I like to tell my 2nd graders that the manipulatives have voices only kids can hear. If I see my students playing with their manipulatives then I have to give the manipulatives a time out because they are telling my students to play with them and not follow the manipulative manners.

Keep a stack of these supply request forms for students to check off and take home as needed. Editable for your specific supplies.
