Editor's Strategy Card for Emerging Writing: A Tool of What Not to Forget
Writer's use tools. When writers edit their work, they use tools like this one to help them remember what to include, fix or do correctly. This is not a checklist exactly, but a card that serves as a visual reminder each time students write. My Vocabulary Graph for Student Data Notebooks
It has been proven that student achievement increases when students take ownership of their learning and monitor their own learning growth and track their own academic data. This is based on the educational research of Robert Marzano. First, students set a vocabulary goal.
