Hi! I’m an English teacher who truly loves writing, grammar, and helping students find their voice on the page. I specialize in making writing clear, structured, and approachable—whether that means crafting strong thesis statements, building cohesive essays, or tackling EOC writing with confidence. Grammar is another passion of mine, and I love breaking it down for students who may not have had consistent exposure to it. My classroom focus and resources center on nonfiction reading comprehension, poetry, and writing instruction. I enjoy helping students closely read informational texts, connect with poetry, and develop thoughtful, well-organized writing across genres. My goal is always to create lessons that feel engaging, meaningful, and accessible for all learners. I’ve worked with students in a wide range of settings, including public, private, and charter schools, homeschooling, tutoring, and ministry-based education. These experiences have shaped my belief that great teaching meets students where they are and provides the support they need to grow with confidence. Outside the classroom, I’m a mom and a blogger who enjoys sharing real life—faith, family, and the everyday moments that shape us. My faith is an important part of who I am and influences the care, purpose, and encouragement I bring into my teaching. At home, I also spend time raising the sweetest Morkies, a small passion project that brings a lot of joy (and puppy cuddles!) into our lives. Every resource I create is designed to support teachers, encourage students, and make learning feel possible.
