Who can come up with three words with short vowel sounds? Great way to practice identifying vowel sounds. Students can use any book/word list with this activity. They can also come up with words on their own.

Can be used to practice facts equaling the corner number. Use addition and/or subtraction. Teachers can increase/decrease the level of difficulty as appropriate. Forms of numbers can be used as well. Students can show the number in standard form, picture form, tally marks, using three addends, etc Can use Teacher vs. Class, Student vs. Student, Etc.
