I used these to familiarize myself with the 3 Reads Strategy. I would write part of a word problem, and do the 3 reads before presenting the question and then solving. The visual helped the students recall what to do at each read too. The color is editable incase purple isn't your color.

I use these as a Guide for the 3 Reads Strategy. The reminders on the back were helpful when first getting used to the strategy. The color is completely editable!
