I used these to familiarize myself with the 3 Reads Strategy. I would write part of a word problem, and do the 3 reads before presenting the question and then solving. The visual helped the students recall what to do at each read too. The color is editable incase purple isn't your color.

Are you in an AVID school? I made these WICOR cards/posters for my Kindergarteners with simple visuals. Maybe other AVID teachers of young learners can find these helpful. I made these Editable so that you can easily change up the colors to match your classroom.
