Wonders Spelling fluency story and sentences for Unit 3 Week 3! Students can practice reading the fluency story and timing each other! Have students work on increasing their fluency. They can then use the fill in the blank fluency story to try to spell the spelling words that go along with Wonders unit 3 week 3. There is also a page of dictation sentences to practice.

Sight word practice includes color coded sentences to master. Each two sentences have all of the sight words listed in a color coded flip book for each student to keep. The lists also contain a practice page to read, cover and write. Lists also contain a monster matching game. Students that struggle with addition and subtraction facts benefit from repeated practice. I have included fact family houses so that kids can associate the subtraction facts with addition facts. There are several pages of practice with a max sum of 12. I like to put these pages in plastic coverings and let the kids do them over and over with a dry erase marker.

Extra practice in adding doubles 1-9

Encourage your students to compare and contrast two items while organizing their thoughts into a Venn diagram. There is also room for students to explain their thoughts in writing.
