This booklet can be used for first and second graders. The first part talks about different types of communities such as rural, urban, and suburban. (The DVD "My Community, What is a Community?" by Schlessinger Media is a good intro) It gives students room to write a sentence and draw pictures.
Next it covers a school community and the people within the school.
Students can draw a picture of all the people in their school community. The next page gives room for students to write about the role
This is a 50 point kindergarten math assessment that covers 2-D and 3-D shape identification, corners, sides, vertices, faces, edges, creating shapes from other shapes and more. It also includes a couple of position word questions.
This can be used as individual worksheets or a whole book. You can use it to teach the alphabet or just practice handwriting. It is something kids can do independently as well as with the class. Practice capital letters A-Z with a picture and word starting with that letter. If there's something similar you want let me know and I'll see if I can create it for you. It also has two blank lines sheets at the end for students to practice their names or any other words/sentences.
