3rd Grade Lock Box - Fractions
This lock box can be used either as a challenge activity before, during, or after learning the content. It all depends on the learning outcomes desired - whether it be to see what students already know and can figure out on their own, to demonstrate understanding during a lesson, or review content. This activity is designed to be done with an actual locked box. Five locks - to be placed on a lock hasp - to be exact. Alternative options are listed for those who may not have a lock box.

Teaching style
I am blessed to be able to visit dozens of classrooms each and every year, watching for nuggets of success we can harness and duplicate for the benefit of all students. I don't have a teaching style. I believe we all adapt from day to day and do our very best, using everything and anything that could work. It takes multiple approaches to reach the children of today. Stay strong and work together as educators to provide the best opportunities around.
