I have been teaching science since 2009, starting off in 7th grade science. I currently am teaching 7th grade science one semester and honors high school biology the following semester.
Edit this document to customize homework passes for your class. I allow them to use it for homework except any at home projects or labs that needed to be completed at home. At the end of the marking period I allow students to turn them in for extra credit. Now includes a Digital editable version with Google Slides!
Included is an EDITABLE cell phone policy. Your student and their parents/guardians will sign it. It includes proper times when students can be on their phones/devices and when they cannot. It also lays out detailed consequences. If you have devices in your classroom that students can use like Chrome books or iPads, you can add that in to the policy. I purchased a pocket holder that has numbers on it from Amazon and have it hanging on my filing cabinet with command hooks.
This is a blank, editable Microsoft Word Document for a Gradebook Template. I have used this for Grades and Attendance. This is easy to leave quickly for a class list for a sub.
Here is an EDITABLE document for you to keep a no homework log. Once students have gotten it signed by their parents, keep it in a binder for great organization.
