Child Behavior Consulting provides the tools and knowledge necessary to promote goal-oriented behaviors and positive decision-making skills in children. We educate how to manage and overcome challenges related to behavior, academic learning and social and emotional development. CBC specializes in ADHD and educates parents, children and organizations working with all children. Our focus is to teach self-regulation and develop executive functioning skills that impact a child’s behavioral, academic and/or social and emotional development in school and at home. CBC offers quality behavioral services to children who have or are challenged by a strong spirit, Executive Functioning Deficit, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, learning disabilities, motivation, ASD, anger management and social skills.
Child Behavior Consulting provides interactive training’s, workshops and presentations to large and small audiences. CBC also works privately with children and their parents. The participants gain a deeper understanding of why a behavior is being presented and learn the most effective interventions and strategies in how to address the areas of concern using positive behavior supports. Whether it be of a school, organization or working directly with children and parents, individual needs are assessed and action plans are developed. CBC trains and educates parents and professionals on how to diffuse and address individuals who are challenged behaviorally in the school, home, society and workplace.
To promote the development of goal-oriented behavior and self-regulation, CBC has developed (4) visual and verbal prompting frameworks. Tools Inspiring Action!™ In Preschool, In The Classroom, At Home and For Transportation. To further reinforce these cognitive and social and emotional skills, CBC has produced and published Tools Inspiring Action!™ Through Music and has published children’s books. All of which are available to parents and service providers. Training in how to effectively implement each framework is available to children, parents/caregivers and service providers.
