Project-based learning activity where students create a super store in either English or Spanish (both are included). There are essential questions about marketing and economics, as well as language. It can integrate mathematics, writing, and art. It is a great way to infuse technology with an L1/L2 and ELA class.
This is a lesson with coloring sheets that you can use as posters, flashcards, or however you want. Easy to download and edit (PPT) and done with awesome graphic from TPT creators. 53 pages. The end slides ask students to describe how the cartoon in the picture is dressed (in Spanish). Really easy so that they get comfortable using the words. My students LOVED IT.

These are basic questions for students that ask them for information about themselves so we can know them better. You can increase the skill by asking them to get more pictures, add more questions, and exchange their information with one another. You can use the questions for a general "Guess Who" among your students.Excellent for ELLs (this is who I use this with) and they totally love it. Allow them to use the translator if needed, for those first weeks. Of course, what better way to practice
