About the store
The Hey Berger store is inspired by one of my students who couldn't say my full last name, Bergamini. He had my first block class and I knew the day didn't truly start until he walked through the door shouting, "Hey Berger!" My career can be described as follows: 8+ years experience. Middle and high school. Public and private. Two states. Social Studies and English as a New Language. Soccer coach. Other duties as assigned. I am most passionate about making content accessible and appropriately challenging for middle and high school students who are new to the English language. Hopefully you will find my resources useful and purposeful for your students!

Teaching style

Everything I design for my students is purposeful. I strive to cut out all fluff so that it is useful and meaningful for students. Connecting and building class community reveals what is important to students. When I understand my students needs and wants, they can actively engage with the content and each other.
