Hi there! I'm an educator with experience across just about every corner of the classroom — from Pre-K and K–6 self-contained special education to middle school math, high school resource math, and even homeschooling. I’ve also worked with the State of Colorado to develop instructional units for middle school math. Teaching style
My teaching style is inspired by Montessori principles, emphasizing hands-on learning and real-life experiences that make education both meaningful and engaging. I want students to be engaged and truly motivated to complete these tasks. I believe in creating a classroom environment where students are excited to learn, where tasks are not only fun but also motivate them to actively participate and complete their work.
By offering engaging, interactive materials, I strive to meet the unique needs of each student and foster a love for learning that goes beyond the classroom.
My own education history
I have a BA in Special Education with a minor in Math from Lake Erie College. I have continued my studies at Colorado Mountain College in Leadville and UC San Diego Extension studying gifted education and autism.
