About the store
I’ve been teaching for over a decade and have worked with a wide range of learners, including gifted and high potential students. I currently teach in a selective gifted and talented program, where I design and deliver enrichment experiences that stretch students’ critical and creative thinking skills. Over the years I’ve taught in both mainstream and extension programs, developed differentiation plans, and mentored teachers in supporting advanced learners. Through this experience, I’ve seen how capable students thrive when they’re challenged to think deeply and creatively. That understanding shapes every resource I create at High Potential Education.

Experience

I’ve been teaching for over a decade and have worked with a wide range of learners, including gifted and high potential students. I currently teach in a selective gifted and talented program, where I design and deliver enrichment experiences that stretch students’ critical and creative thinking skills. Over the years I’ve taught in both mainstream and extension programs, developed differentiation plans, and mentored teachers in supporting advanced learners. Through this experience, I’ve seen how capable students thrive when they’re challenged to think deeply and creatively. That understanding shapes every resource I create at High Potential Education.

Teaching style

My teaching style is neuroaffirming, creative, flexible, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe in giving students meaningful challenge through open-ended thinking, problem solving, and opportunities to explore ideas in depth. I design lessons that blend curiosity with structure so that bright students can stretch their thinking without feeling overwhelmed. Every resource I make aims to save teachers time while keeping learning rigorous, engaging, and achievable for every child.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Education and I’m currently completing a Master of Education in Gifted Education. My studies have deepened my understanding of differentiation, creativity, and the social and emotional needs of gifted learners. I continue to learn from research and from the classroom every day, always looking for better ways to make enrichment accessible for every teacher.

Additional biographical information

As a teacher with ADHD and a parent of a twice-exceptional daughter, I understand both the joy and the challenge of meeting the needs of neurodivergent learners. That experience shapes everything I create. My focus is on practical, evidence-informed resources that help teachers bring real challenge, curiosity, and understanding into their classrooms.
