This Nearpod will help students understand the quadratic formula and the discriminant. You can assign this as a student paced assignment or as a teacher paced all class assignment.

This project is designed for students in an Algebra 1 class. It is a book that the students create to examine a discuss all the aspects of graphing lines. They have to incorporate how to solve for slope, the difference between parallel and perpendicular lines, the 3 different equations of lines, rise over run and much more. This is a great project for students to master how to graph a line and for understanding what a slope is.
