Teaching style

Students should be encouraged to make mistakes because "mistakes are proof that you are trying" (Samantha Snyder). Students should also feel a sense of community in the classroom, where he/she feels extremely comfortable asking questions and even confident enough to let the teacher know if he/she made a mistake. Each student has his/her own way of learning, and it is vital for a teacher to be able to distinguish whether a particular student is an auditory and/or visual learner. Similarly, there is no "right way" of teaching - each teacher has his/her own unique teaching style that works as long as the main focus of the job is the student.
